June 25, 2005 Lakemoor, IL

Jeff recently won his 7th straight fight at XFO 6 in the X-treme Fighting Organizations first outdoor extravaganza. Jeff fought the main event against tough a lightweight competitor, Steve Kinnison. Curran controlled the majority of the fight, displaying his Jiu-Jitsu skills throughout. In the 3rd round, Curran landed a head kick to Kinnison that quickly changed the pace of the fight. "I saw that the kick had changed his interest in the fight. I had to take advantage of the momentum I gained from that to push the action and look for a win" said Jeff after his fight. He continued by saying that this is his 6th submission in 7 fights and that he is proud to always represent Pedro Sauer and the Gracie family every time he enters the mma rings. Curran also had his fighters Darby and Nate Mohr win by submission while his XFO Lightweight Champ, Bart Palaszewski, lost a close decision to #1 Contender Clay Guida.

All in all a great day for team curran as they went 3-1 for the day of mma competition.
