CURRAN
TO REPLACE BAO AT SUPERBRAWL, HAWAII
MMAWeekly's
Tim Spagnola had a chance to speak with Curran to get his thoughts
about a return to action.
MMAWeekly:
Jeff, this is exciting news to see you back in Super Brawl action.
What were your thoughts when "Kid's name was mentioned?
Curran:
I defiantly have never heard a bad thing about "Kid".
He is obviously a man that means business in the ring, so the
only thing I can say is that he will be looking in the mirror
when he sees me.
MMAWeekly:
And your thoughts overall about returning to action?
Curran:
I am excited to get back to work. Believe it or not it has been
5 months come fight time. In 2002, I fought 5 of my 6 fights the
last 5.5 months of the year. I will be ready for "Kid".
MMAWeekly:
The best of luck you Jeff on what is going to be an exciting Super
Brawl event.
Curran:
Thank you in advance to TJ Thompson and my manager for their quick
work to get me in the show.
MMAWeekly:
Anything you want to say to your fans?
Curran:
I really want to win this fight. Honestly, it doesn't matter who
it is, I have a goal in mind and I will either take one more step
towards it on May 9th or I will have to take one step back. It
just doesn't matter.
MMAWeekly:
Thanks Jeff as always for taking the time to talk with MMAWeekly.
Curran vs. Yamamoto is a great addition to this exciting card.
We will have more Super Brawl news here at MMAWeekly and look
for T. Jay to join the "Hitman" soon on MMAWeekly Radio
