Jeff is set to fight a main event bout at the IFC in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 5th, 2005. This will be Jeff's first bout of 2005. Winning this bout will set Jeff as the #1 Contender for the IFC's Featherweight Title fight to take place sometime in May this year.

Jeff has been training very hard and working his boxing more than anything with coach Dr. Doug Mango. Doug has been training Jeff for almost 5 years now and is expecting Jeff to hit the boxing scene soon. "Jeff is the hardest puncher for his weight that I have ever seen" said Coach Mango, "the kid can box and he is very marketable. I have no doubt that Jeffy will make big waves in the boxing arena's.

Another great thing for Curran and his team is that he gets to spend the week before the fight training in Salt Lake City, Utah at Pedro Sauer's academy. Pedro has been Jeff's instructor for Jiu-Jitsu for almost a decade. "I am so happy to fight in Salt Lake City because I get to prepare with Pedro and my boxing coach for the week.
