LOIS THEOBALD REPRESENTS TEAM CURRAN AT BOXING MAIN EVENT

Jefferson City, MO

No stranger to battle, Team Curran member and wife to MMA legend Jim Theobald (who holds a solid fight record of 88-11), Lois "The Quiet Storm" Theobald made her most dominating appearance in the Boxing world yet.

On a short notice, after over 6 months of trying to book a fight, Lois's camp set out to step up the level of competition that she was used to. Finally signing a contract to fight in a main event against top ten, world ranked Liz Drew of Jefferson City, MO, Coach Doug Mango had his heart set to display the work he has done with this middle aged protégé.

Lois had her pro boxing debut over the summer of 2004, winning a sloppy KO victory to lower level opponent. "I won, but I wasn't happy with my performance at all. I got the bugs out and can't wait to step in the ring again" said Lois after her debut.

Going into the fight against Drew, Lois knew it was time to show her new game.

Dominating all 6 rounds of the bout vs. Drew, Lois's trainers stood by for a sure decision win over the local fighter Liz Drew.

The judges scored the bout in favor of local favorite Drew, giving her the victory over Lois by majority decision. "Never before have I seen a more one sided fight. How the judges got away with that call I have no idea. It's just not right" says trainer Dr. Doug Mango. Catching up with Lois after the bout she says "I won my first pro fight and was unhappy with my performance, so losing this doesn't upset me that much because I fought a great fight and I am happy".

Next up for Lois is undecided at the moment, but already back in the gym she is preparing for her next war. She definitely made her mark as a top level pro in the women's boxing world.
